171 - The Beekeeper

A thief got in the house of a beekeeper during his absence, stealing honey and honeycombs.

To his return, the beekeeper, seeing the beehives empty, stopped to examine them. In this, the bees, returning from boozing, and finding him there, stung him with his stings and ill-treated him horribly.

"Damned insects - said to them the beekeeper-, allowed to go without punishment to the one that had stolen the honeycombs, and for me, that took care of them tenderly, you hurt me in an implacable way!"

Often it happens that we see with suspicion our friends, but by ignorance, we stretch the hand to the one who is our enemy.
