217 - Hercules and Pluto

Received Hercules among the gods, and admitted to the table of Jupiter, was greeting with great courteousness each of the gods.

Pluto came at last, and Hercules, lowering the sight to the ground, moved away from him.

Surprised Jupiter for his attitude, asked him why he was separating the eyes of Pluto after having greeted so kindly all the other gods.

"Because, - answered Hercules - during the times in which I was between the men, almost always I saw him in company of the dodgers; that's why I separate my look away from him."

Do not do friendship with whom you know that has not acted correctly.
