Announced the weddings of Jupiter, all the animals honored him with presents, each one according to its means.

The snake climbed up to Jupiter crawling, with a rose in the mouth.

But on having seen her, Jupiter said:

"From all I accept their presents, but I do not want that gift from your mouth."

We must not entrust on the apparent kindness of the evil ones.
