088 - The Dog and the Crow

Back
Next

A crow that was offering a victim in sacrifice to Atenea invited a dog to the banquet.

The dog said to him:

"Why do you squander your goods in useless sacrifices? Since you should know that the goddess despises you up to the point of removing any credit to your predictions."

Then the crow answered:

"That's why I do to her these sacrifices, because I know very well her grief with me and I wish his conciliation."

If you wish the most remote listen to you, you must call them with major intensity.
